Life in a snapshot

So, for my first post I thought I'd give a little more of an idea of what life looks like for me.
As I've said I'm married with two children, one girl, one boy. Our daughter is about to go into her second year at uni and our son has just received his GCSE results (that was a stressful wait) and will be starting at college in the next couple of weeks. Also mum to two large, very hairy dogs, also one girl and one boy! Fortunately I have an obsession with hoovers as I cannot over-exaggerate enough how much they shed. Black is not a good colour to wear to our house!
I'm a primary school teacher (hopefully you won't notice too many writing/punctuation errors) and a private tutor which I love. I particularly love seeing a child go from dreading a subject - more often than not maths over other subjects - to saying "actually I don't mind it that much now!"
I am extremely easily influenced via Instagram or Facebook into buying new things (mainly by @Stacey Solomon and @Mrs Hinch) and my daughter finds this hilarious. I love starting new hobbies and have a huge list of things I want to try, I'm currently doing an online gardening course and I'd love a go at making pottery. I'll keep you posted on which new hobbies are successful and which are not!
This blog will hopefully have at least some content that interests you as it gets going. It really will be a mismatch of day to day life.
